Question. What is Vol-au-vent?
Answer. Vols-au-vent is a small round hollow disc of puff pastry. It is made by using a round cutter to cut two circles from rolled out puff pastry dough. More details are shown in our video. This pastry is usually found filled with savory or sweet ingredients.
